It took a long time for me to get my students to learn to listen to
a speaker. I tried to get them to focus on the speaker, stop
fidgeting and have nothing in their hands too.
You have to be aware of different cultures when you do this.
It is also extremely important that we as teachers and
administrators listen to our students. They should help shape
how they learn.
