Teacher Notes: To be honest I never liked taking those standardized tests or preparing my students for them. I wanted to teach my students the necessary skills for life that were not on those tests.

I will never forget my principal and district office staff walking around during a major test.  The principal yelled at a teacher because his class were all under their desks.  Then he heard the gunfire that was happening across the street from the school!
